Sally has devoted over 30 years to the mental health community and has pioneered various new initiatives such as recovery model that focus on reintegration of patients into community through supported housing, supported employment, community rehabilitation and support services.

Sally has also introduced CARF (Commission for the Accreditation of Rehabilitation Facilities) to ensure quality of psychiatric rehabilitation services in Singapore. She was awarded HDMP-ILTC Award from MOH in 2011.

Sally is a certified psychiatric rehabilitation practitioner, family therapist and registered counsellor.
